PRODUCT OVERVIEW​

Argus manufactures casing and drill pipe cement heads for primary, remedial, and stage cementing on vertical, directional, and horizontal wells. Choose single-plug or double-plug bodies for casing programs, or the drill pipe cement head for liner jobs. Options include top-drive caps, the Argus Quik-Connekt (AQC) adapter for fast orientation, and plug-pass indication for positive confirmation. Rated up to 10,000 psi.

Drill Pipe Cement Head (liner jobs)

Attaches to the drill pipe/running string, releases the pump-down plug that latches the liner wiper plug; includes a heavy-duty bearing swivel to rotate the string for liner-tool release. Plug pass indicator is standard. 

Sizes: 3 1/2″, 4″, 4 1/2″ drill pipe.

Pressure rating: up to 10,000 psi.

Key features: retractable locking pin, heavy-duty bearing swivel, plug-pass indicator (standard), pick-up sub.

Swages

Casing and rotary swages are precision-manufactured to meet API standards, ensuring strength, safety, and compatibility across drilling and production operations.

Specifications:

Casing Threads: Manufactured in accordance with API Spec 5B.

Rotary Threads: Manufactured in accordance with API Spec 7-2.

Optional 2″ 1502 female hammer union thread half (3″ 1502 available)

Available with API casing or rotary thread connections

Premium threads and other connection types available upon request

Equipped with swivel ring for safety line tie-off and ease of handling

QUIK-CONNEKT and Conditional Tools

Connects an Argus Casing Cement Head to the top of the casing string, enabling quick, non-rotational connection and alignment to the pump line without disturbing casing make-up.

Available with API or premium casing connections and designed to support full API casing sizes from 4 1/2″ to 20″.

Casing Circulating Cap: API 4 1/2″–20″, 10,000 psi, 2″ Fig 1502 top inlet, can pressure-test casing and act as a handling plug.

Casing Circulating Swage: API tubing 2 3/8″–4 1/2″, casing 4 1/2″–20″, 10,000 psi, well-control circulation during casing run.

Drill Pipe Circulating Swage: API drill pipe 2 3/8″–8 5/8″, 10,000 psi, maintains pressure & circulation during drilling pauses.
